Application forms should be lodged with the registrar and include the fee of $100 with school reports and other documents as required.

Read more about our enrolment procedure

Amity College is a comprehensive co-educational K-12 school providing quality education, operating within the policies of the NSW Education and Standards Authority (NESA). All applications will be processed in order of date received and consideration will be given to the applicant’s support for the ethos of the school; siblings already attending the school; and other criteria determined by the school from time to time.

Enrolments to the College are not limited by religion, race, gender or zoning boundaries. Once enrolled, students are expected to support the school’s ethos and comply with the school rules to maintain the enrolment. The availability of positions is limited and waiting lists exist for most grades.

The application process includes the submission of an Application Form, sitting an Entrance Exam, an Interview process with the child and the family and finally an Offer of Placement/Outcome. Individual appointments to discuss enrolment and visit to the school may be made by making arrangements with the Admissions office.

The main points of entry are at Kindergarten and Year 7 levels. Entrance for all other years will only be offered when a place becomes vacant. All students on the waiting list will be invited to sit the Entrance Exams in June and August. Successful applicants will be given main round placement offers in July and in September second round offers are made.

Amity College also recognises the need for a flexible intake in accordance with the needs of each family. As vacancies arise during Terms 1 and 2, students may join the school mid-year, if necessary.

Steps in enrolment

In order to apply for a place at Amity College it is necessary to complete an Application for Enrolment form available from the Admission’s Office.

This form should be lodged with the Registrar and include the appropriate fee of $100, school reports and other documents as required.

Applicants are placed on a waiting list according to date of receipt. It should be noted that placement on the waiting list does not guarantee a place.
